Essex Crane Rental Corp has grown steadily over 40 years into the world's largest provider of Manitowoc lattice-boom crawler cranes and attachments. With over 400 cranes and attachments in its fleet, Essex supplies cranes for construction projects related to power generation, petro-chemical, refineries, water treatment & purification, bridges, highways, hospitals, shipbuilding, and commercial construction.

FLEET
The Essex fleet consists of lattice-boom cranes that range from the 65-ton model 3000 up to the 661-ton model 888 RINGER. Over 90% of the units in our extensive fleet are Manitowoc's most popular models - which include the 3900, 3900W, 4000W, 4100W, 777, 14000, 888, 999 and 2250. In addition, Essex has begun to invest in Liebherr cranes and now owns HS855SX, LR1100, LR1200SX & LR1300. LOCATIONS
In addition to our people and our fleet, another one of Essex's strengths is the location and capability of our service centers - which are strategically located to ensure that cranes are located and serviced near all of the major crane markets in North America.
Essex currently has five fully-equipped service centers located in Alabaster (Birmingham), Alabama; Arcola (Houston), Texas; Longmont (Denver), Colorado; Fontana (Los Angeles), California; and Tampa, Florida.
In addition to the service centers above, the company's main headquarters are located in Buffalo Grove, Illinois.
Acquired by Kirtland Capital Partners in May of 2000, and under a newly-formed, progressive management team, Essex remains committed to providing the heavy-lifting industry with reliable, quality cranes and exceptional customer service.
