2001-03-21 ESSEX APPOINTS BILL O'ROURKE VICE PRESIDENT OF SALES AND MARKETING

Essex Crane Rental Corp. today named Bill O'Rourke vice president of sales and marketing. O'Rourke will be responsible for all Essex sales and marketing efforts worldwide.

Bill comes to Essex with more than twenty years experience in crane sales and rental. Since 1992 Bill has been executive vice president and general manager of North Central Crane, a wholly owned subsidiary of The Manitowoc Company that distributes Manitowoc cranes throughout the Midwest. In addition Bill has been responsible for Manitowoc Re-Manufacturing, Manitowoc's rebuild facility in Bauxite, Arkansas. From 1993 to 1995 Bill was executive vice president of Manitex the business unit of Manitowoc that manufactures boom trucks. Prior to 1992 Bill held positions of sales manager, and vice president of sales of North Central Crane.
