Date: December 4, 2002
BUFFALO GROVE, IL [December 04, 2002] – Essex Crane Rental Corp. announces a new company website which can be accessed via the World Wide Web at http://www.essexcrane.com.
The new website’s ‘Cranes - Rental Fleet’ section has been designed to be a comprehensive source of technical information on all of the Manitowoc lattice-boom crawler cranes that Essex has available in its rental fleet - ranging from the 65-ton model 3000 up to the 661-ton model 888 RINGER. In addition, information is provided for MAX-ER, RINGER, luffing jib, and tower attachments for each model.
Vice president of sales and marketing, Bill O’Rourke stated: “Over 90% of the units in Essex’s extensive fleet are Manitowoc's most popular models - which include the models 3900, 3900W, 4000W, 4100W, 777, 888, 999, M-250 and 2250. The information that we’ve made available for each crane model includes specifications, outline dimensions, weights, rigging assembly drawings, and the various load charts supported for each model in our fleet. In many cases, this includes load charts for specialty lifting operations including barge, clamshell, dragline, magnet and other duty-cycle work”.
Commenting on the new website, Ron Schad, president and CEO, added: “Essex is 100% committed to the heavy lifting industry, and our investment in building this new site into an industry information resource demonstrates that commitment. In this age of information, we are excited to be able to supply our customers with the technical data that they routinely request - over the internet – where information is always just a few keystrokes away, and accessible from anywhere in the world”.
