2003-03-20 ESSEX APPOINTS BILL ERWIN V.P. OF CUSTOMER SERVICE & FLORIDA OPERATIONS

Essex Crane Rental Corp, (Buffalo Grove IL, USA) has named Bill Erwin Vice President of Customer Support. Erwin will be responsible for all aspects of improving customer support throughout Essex's North American operations. In addition Erwin will be responsible for sales and operations at Essex's service center in Tampa, Florida.
In this new role Erwin reports directly to Ron Schad, President & CEO. and his main role will be to identify opportunities throughout Essex to improve Customer Service and to strategically grow Essex's business.
Bill comes to Essex with more than twenty-five years experience in crane related rentals and customer service. Since 1999 Bill has been a senior vice president with Maxim Crane Rental responsible for rental activity in southeastern United States. Prior to Maxim, Bill spent nearly fifteen years with the Carlisle organization during which time he was responsible for their operations in Florida.
Bill graduated with a BS degree in Engineering Arts from Michigan State University in 1976 and went to work for Manitowoc Engineering Co. Bill then joined Manitowoc’s distributor in Cleveland, Crane and Shovel where he eventually became President.
